The Anybus Communicator is shipped with two GSD files.

The "HMSA183B.gsd" file is the standard GSD file which has slot definitions and
forces modules to be plugged into specific slots. This allows the Anybus
Communicator to generate diagnosis data when there is a mismatch between the PLC
configuration and the Anybus Communicator's configuration.

The "HMSB183B.gsd" file is the alternative GSD file which doesn't have any slot
definitions and allows the modules to be plugged into any slot, this also
allows the same type of module to be used multiple times. In order to use this
GSD file the configuration option "Allow any module mapping" must be enabled in
the Anybus Communicator's configuration. When this GSD file is used no diagnosis
data is available from the Anybus Communicator.
